Board of Directors

Philip Koen joined the Infinera board in February 2010.  He was CEO and a director of SAVVIS, a global leader in IT infrastructure services for business applications, from March 2006 until January 2010.  Prior to joining SAVVIS, Mr. Koen served for more than four years as COO of Equinix, one of the world¹s largest operators of data centers and carrier hotels. Prior to Equinix, Mr. Koen served in senior executive positions at PointCast, Inc. and other technology companies. Mr. Koen holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
